A week ago I was on Sunday with a buddy fishing for sander in the River Seine in France. The water was very high and muddy in conditions that are not so bad for zander/walleye.
Fishing was difficult, and we needed to fish with 20 and 25g jigheads to be able to reach the bottom in only 4m (13 feet) of water. Got a nice zander, few smalls, one perch and my friend caught a 1.94m (47kg) wels catfish on 12pound leader…. tough fight in the current !
The lure of the day : the Jerky J Swim 5” chartreuse. Again !!
